Summary
I like making data-driven decisions. From my professional to personal life, I gather data and summarize evidence to inform my choices. Given this, it is no surprise that my career follows the path of research and discovery, and why I am drawn to data analysis and statistics.
I have a doctoral degree in Family and Human Development and a strong background in applied statistics, quantitative research methodology, and developmental theory. I have led and collaborated on scholarly and business-related research projects with multidisciplinary teams and I have conducted statistical analyses on a range of topics and data designs/types. I have also taught and assisted with college level courses and presented at national research conferences. I am currently employed as a statistician in the private sector, a role in which I get to analyze and visualize data to inform decisions. I am proficient in R programming language, Oracle SQL, and Tableau.
